Aesthetic Anatomy: How I Learned to Love Artistic Anatomy

$250.00

Join celebrated artist and author Roberto Osti for a 2-day Aesthetic Anatomy workshop.

The Human body is the eternal subject. Artists have been depicting the human figure for millennia, creating an infinite number of artworks. The human body is at one time fascinating and challenging, making the study of anatomy essential for any artists interested in figurative art. This introductory workshop will give the participant an overview of the basic aspect of figure anatomy: proportions, measuring, muscular and skeletal structures.

Each one of the two workshop sessions will start with a 30-minutes demonstration followed by 3:30 hours of life drawing with model.

The workshop will be held at the Fine Art Academy of Montclair on October 26 -27, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
